Scottish Association:-

A special meeting of the Scottish Association was held last night. The meeting was called to consider the protest regarding the Final Cup Tie between the Celtic and Third LRV. An agreement, signed by the two clubs prior to stepping on the field, was read. Both clubs had agreed to play a friendly game on account of the unsuitability of the ground. Mr Reid (Airdrieonians) moved that they do not recognise any agreement made between the clubs regarding a tie. Mr Campbell, the referee, was then questioned regarding the state of the ground, which he declared was unplayable. The umpires corroborated Mr Campbell. It was then moved, and unanimously agreed to, that the tie be replayed on Hampden Park on Saturday first; and was further agreed, by a majority of ten votes to eight, that the admission be as on the former occasion.
