Played at Bolton. before seven thousand spectators. The Celtic passing was much admired, and they were often dangerous, but could not score. Weir kicked a goal for the Wanderers, who led by one to nothing at the interval. The wanderers scored again after the interval from a free kick, but the Celtic could not get the ball through and the Wanderers won by two goals to nil.
