Review
This match took place at Blackburn, before 5,000 spectators. The Rovers were without Forbes, Southworth, and Townley, but the Celtic had a splendid team. The Rovers had the advantage of a strong wind in the first half, and pressed hotly, hitting the cross-bar three times, but the teams crossed over without scoring.
On resuming the Celtic headed through from a corner-kick, and having the best of matters scored again just before time.
