Review
Long way to go in the season, but it’s fair to say in retrospect that this victory sealed the league title for Celtic, who at the end of the season won the title by just 4pts.
Hero of the day was Sandy McMahon who scored a double with goals by three other Celts.
As one report in the Dundee Advertiser stated:
“The Celtic had the game in hand, and latterly did pretty much as they liked.”
Notably an attendance of 25,000 which for then was a record for a Scottish league match.
