- Glasgow Cup Final
- Big turnaround after Celtic had defeated Third Lanark in the Glasgow Charity Cup six months ago 6-0.
Review
A major disappointment for Celtic in the mist and rain of Ibrox.
This was a lacklustre display not entirely to be explained away by the absence of in-form Willie Orr (who missed his train, apparently).
For once the Celtic forward line failed to function, and long before full time, Celtic were a beaten side.
