Trivia
- A poor game.
- Nick Smith of Rangers died the day before, aged 31. He and his wife had died of enteric fever in Darvel, Ayrshire. Some elements had previously held a grudge against him as he was the man who crocked Jimmy Quinn in last season's Glasgow Charity Cup final, BUT no one wishes death on anyone. RIP
- Celtic now off to for a week to Seamill Hydro for special training
