- The crowd contained about 400 fans from Aberdeen, clearly out for the day and enjoying Glasgow hospitality, singing good natured songs like "Auld Lang Syne" and being appreciated by the Celtic fans!
- 26th Feb: No game for Celtic the following week because McNair, Loney, Hay, McMenemy and Quinn all at Blackburn playing for Scottish League 3 English League 2. No prizes for guessing who scored two of Scotland's three goals!
