Review
William Kivlichan‘s goal was just before half time from about 40 years. He was a member of the Third Order of St John, a Catholic Order, and his scapulars (shoulder pads) escaped from under his jersey and were clearly visible.
According to the Glasgow Observer, this brought “tears to the eyes of the faithful”.
