- Frank Branscombe, Thistle's outside left will, sadly, probably be remembered for the fact that he was involved in a tragic accidental tackle when playing against Hibs, from which his opponent, James Main later died.
- Willie Hamilton of Thistle would later play as a team-mate of Jimmy McMenemy's for Motherwell in the 1921 Scottish Cup, 4th Round.
