Fully 7,000 spectators witnessed the Scottish League game between Celtic and Clyde at Parkhead, Glasgow. McMenemy scored the first goal for Celtic after ten minutes’ play, and four minutes later McColl added a second. The Celtic did all the pressing up to the interval, and scored another two goals through McAtee and Browning. Clyde had the assistance of the breeze in the second half, but they failed badly in front of Shaw. Allan and Morris both missing scoring opportunities. McColl scored a fifth goal for Celtic, who won with something to spare. McNair played his first game for Celtic for the season.

HIGH SCORING IN HOLIDAY GAMES
Heavy goal-scoring was the feature of the holiday games in Scotland yesterday. At Parkhead Celtic, who included McNair for the first time this season, defeated Clyde by five goals to nothing, after having the better of the play. P. Allan who is in the army and home on furlough, was played in the Clyde team.
