- 14 men arrested in connection with the recent rioting in Glasgow appeared from custody at the High Court in Edinburgh and were granted bail.
- The Glasgow Herald of Monday 24 Feb. reports that three options are under consideration as to the disposal of the German fleet at present moored in Scapa Flow. The options are to divide the ships among the victorious allies, to sink them in the Atlantic or to give them to the League of Nations. LINK
- The same edition of the Glasgow Herald reports that troops under the command of Scots General, Edmund Ironside with the Allied Intervention Force made a 300 mile journey on sledges in northern Russia.
- The Herald also carries the results of the miners' ballot for strike action which shows a large majority in favour.

Against a much more strenuous opposition, and with a remodelled defence, Celtic had to bestir themselves against Partick Thistle. But the substitution of Cassidy for McAtee did not improve their attack; McMenemy and Gallagher were far too elusive for the Firhill defenders, and even when McColl had to retire and the teams were on an equality in goals, there never seemed the slightest prospect of the Thistle recording their first League victory over their redoubtable opponents.
