Trivia
- There were no Celtic players chosen for the international return match against Ireland at Windsor Park Belfast but the Ireland team has four Belfast Celtic players featuring in this goalless draw. LINK
- The same edition of the Glasgow Herald which reported the game also had mixed reports from their own correspondent in Russia where there is optimism among the "Tommies" fighting the Bolsheviks in the Arctic with reinforcements expected, but pessimism on the Archangel front where a withdrawal is apparently in progress.
- The Herald also reports from India where it is said that at Amritsar a mob of 200 rebels who attacked the authorities were killed and at Ahmedabad a further 250 rioters were killed.
- Page 5 of the Herald quotes The Grand Master Mason of Scotland, Brigadier General, R. G. Gordon Gilmour, of his wish to see the world: "girt about by a strong Masonic chain".
- Also on page 5 of the Herald is a report of a police raid in London where the illegal Chinese gambling game "fan tan" has been superseded by "pukka-poo".

A RAY OF HOPE
Probably no player reaps less success at goals from brilliant play in the outfield than Gallagher, the Celtic forward, whose three goals against Falkirk put a more favourable complexion on the chances of his club in the three remaining League engagements with Airdrieonians at home, Heart of Mid-Lothian and Ayr United away.
