Match report from The Scotsman, 29th March 1921
[…] Celtic defeated Partick Thistle at Ibrox Park by a goal, scored by Gallagher after 26 minutes. The honours, however, were largely with the defeated team, which included only Campbell, Crichton, and Johnstone of the side who opposed the Heart of Midlothian on Saturday. The reserves all played well, the hall-backs especially making it exceedingly difficult for the clever Celtic forwards to find shooting openings. Crichton was a bulwark in defence. The Celtic forwards played some pretty football on a sticky pitch, but it was more ornate than effective. The attendance numbered about 10,000.
