Match report from The Scotsman, 4th April 1921
[…] The 10,000 spectators present at Celtic Park, Glasgow, saw a splendid contest. Dumbarton made a great fight against the Celtic. In the first half the visitors' forwards put up a fine show, and only the excellent saving of Shaw kept them from crossing over on the lead. McStey [sic] scored for the Celtic from a penalty kick after thirty minutes, but before the interval Walker equalised with a fast drive. In the second half the Celtic were seen at their best, but the brilliant defence of Colman and Till worthily earned for Dumbarton a valuable point.
