Scotsman, Monday 4 March.
Celtic, who had a new goalkeeper in Smith (Dundee United), but were otherwise at full strength, had a sorry time, and much of their trouble could be traced to the fine play of Tulip, a full back drafted at the last minute to inside forward in the home side.
It may be recalled that Raith Rovers gained their biggest League victory and Celtic suffered their biggest defeat of last season under similar circumstances, Rovers having to make drastic last-minute changes that proved extremely successful.
