CELTIC'S GOOD WIN

CELTIC, 4; CLYDE, 1.
With a display reminiscent of their best days, Celtic inflicted a decisive defeat on Clyde at Parkhead last night. The winners’ attack gave the visitors’ defenders a severe gruelling.

Crum was very effective as leader. Although he failed to score, he was responsible for the first two goals. McDonald and Lynch applied the finishing touch.

Clyde reduced the leeway from a penalty, but Lynch and Geatons increased Celtic's lead.

The half-back's effort was a magnificent one, as he beat four opponents before placing the ball well away from Brown.
