Trivia
- Celtic & World War Two
- January 27 – For offences in New Year game, MacDonald suspended for the rest of the season, and Lynch until March 27. Difficult to convince Celtic supporters that SFA is not anti-Celtic
Review
Odd goal. An obvious penalty was appealed for by Johnny Paton who then, thinking that a penalty had been given, stopped ball with his hand and hit ball into net. Referee Livingstone gave a goal!
