Trivia
- Third Round match.
- The whole of Glasgow had been expecting Celtic to sign a top rate goalkeeper in the week prior to the game, having dropped John Bonnar and Sonny Hunter being considered pretty much a stand in.
Review
Absolute standout game for Sonny Hunter in goal denying the Terrible Trio of Bauld, Wardhaugh and Conn. Sonny made save after save with “…. magnificent goalkeeping…. clutching high balls…. pulling them to him…. saves from all angles that brought the house down.”
