- A chop-‘n’-change side with Mike Haughney reverting to right back after his forward line outings and Jimmy mallan moving to centre half; a debut game for Jimmy Walsh at centre forward with the absence of McPhail (who was putting on the pounbds and said to have been sent to a health farm!), and Jackie Millsopp going to left wing for the last game of the domestic season.
