Review

Described as a pretty poor game.
Celtic started well putting the Stirling Albion goal under considerable pressure with Jenking saving with his face from a Walsh shot, the ball connoning off his face and out for a corner. Jenkins went off to receive attention to his nose with george Henderson taking over in goal. Collins scored from the spot after Walsh had been brought down and injured in the area. Walsh resumed on the wing. Jenkins failed to appear at the start of the second half and Albion continued with 10 men with Henderson in goal. Then in a three minute spell McPhail scored after chasing a hacked away ball from Stein and getting a lucky rebound from the Henderson clearance. IOne minute later Collins scored with a low angled ball and then Albion got one back from a goalmouth melee.
