Review
A game wholly controlled by Celtic with Thistle having only a few chances all game scoring from two.
The game started at a furious pace with Thistle scoring in 2 minutes when Miller cut down the right and passed to Stott to score. McPhail quickly pulled the game back level. After an even period during which Tully, McPhail and Weir all had chances, Tully cut the ball to Millsop who hit a shot from 30 yards to beat Ledgerwood. Collins third goal was a solo effort and McOPhail's second goal came from a Tully corner. Three minutes from time Thistle got a second goal but Celtic had dominated the game and could have scored more.
