Review
Raith always gave a hard game at home in Kirkaldy and this one was little different. Both teams started well with chances for both sides. Walsh had the ball in the net midway through the first half but the effort was ruled offside. At half time it was still scoreless. Stewart and McPhail both took knocks requiring attention in the second half. Bonnar was the more active of the two goalkeepers. Raith got the first goal when a McEwan shot completely deceived Bonnar who was being challenged by Penman. Tully then took over the captain's role from McPhail who was more incapacitated from his tumble with Stewart. Tully got the equaliser shooting after a melee in the Raith goal mouth.
