Review
Celtic did well and deserved their draw. Indeed had the referee seen as clearly on the pitch as those did in the stand Celtic could have been awarded a penalty ten minutes from time when Walsh was taken out. Mochan could have scored at the end with only the City keeper Trautman to beat he failed to lob the keeper well enough. A fully recovered Bonnar made some inspired saves throughout the match. Tully also played but looked far from fit. Both goals were scored in the first half. Celtic's goal came when Mochan shot through McPhail's legs from a Tully corner. The City goal was scored when McIlroy was beaten by a through ball allowing Brodis to take the ball on the run, and beat Bonnar neatly.
