Review
Celtic beat Motherwell in front of 90,000 to progress to the Scottish Cup Final.
A game in which the superior fitness and stamina brought about the result. Motherwell just could not match Celtic for quick movement of the ball. Motherwell had a good proportion of the first half though they played into the wind and Celtic did the majority of the attacking. At half time it stood at 1-1.
three minutes from time Haughney missed a penalty cracking it high over the bar.
