Review
Described as a 'seesaw game' with Falkirk getting the equaliser ten minutes from the end after a fight back. Tully missed an open goal lofting his shot over the bar. Plumb put the Bairns in the lead on seven minutes and they could have gone 2-0 up on fifteen minutes. Celtic were playing poorly and the Bairns having a field day. Fallon's equaliser was hotly disputed by the Falkirk defenders. Haughney scored a penalty five minutes from time after Mochan was brougfht down in the area. Tully picked up an eye injury in the second half but was able to continue. Sinclair equalised before the end.
