Review
Queens played well inn the first half and deservedly got the opener. In the last minute of the first half Rothera, the veteran playmaker of the Dumfries side who had only just been declared fit to play, collapsed holding his back. He started the second half but was very much the passenger. Mochan duly equalised. Five minutes later Jim Sharkey scored another superb goal from a Jimmy Walsh cross. After another five minutes Bobby Collins added a third. Queen of the South pretty much gave up p[laying after Rothera's injury.
