Review
generally not an inspiring game but with a few flashes of interest. Mochan had a header off the bar in two minutes and celtic were ahead on six. Another Mochan header shot across the goal and hit Higgins to bounce in at the far post. Higgins trundled the second goal home on 28 minutes with Beattie so far untroubled in the Celtic goal. Clyde pulled one back when Kemp headed home a Ring cross which was close to the ground. Clyde came more into the game in the second half. Higgins headed a Walsh cross in for his third. Mochan got the fourth goal from close range thirteen minutes from the end.
