Trivia
- Played in Montreal at the Delorimer Stadium. Whilst in Montreal the club donated the complete strip used in the Spurs game to a local team which had been started by the Motreal Celtic Supporters Club – and thuis was formed the Montreal Celtic playing in the Hoops.
- Celtic sailed for home from New York on the Queen Elizabeth on the 13th June and were due back in Glasgow on the 19th. after that the players would be free till July 16th. Manager Jimmy McGrory stated whilst in America that Celtic were not a selling club and all the players expected to be retained.
