Trivia
- An unchanged side for Celtic from the team that had been beaten 1-0 by Rangers the previous day.
- A hard frost bound and slippery pitch.
Review
Celtic went on the attack from the off and had a good few chances early on on the slippery surface. The first goal came from a Mochan corner which rebounded from the post to Wilson who shot home. Wilson's second goal came from a Vince Ryan special long throw in.
