Review
Clyde started the match well and fought for every ball but by midway through the half it was Celtic that were making the running with good moves from Conway and Divers. Clyde defended in depth and were able to switch to counter-attack with ease. Two minutes before the interval Mackle got the opener direct from a free kick.
After the interval Celtic pushed hard for a second and Clyde defended resolutely. Conway had the ball in the net but the goal was chalked off for a foul. With this let off Clyde pushed on and Meek scored an equaliser with a good shot on 57 minutes. Though Celtic pushed for a winner the final result of a draw was even to both teams.
