Review
A day really for Jimmy Millar, the Rangers centre forward, who gave Bobby Evans a torrid time all game. The first half though was pretty even and a first goal by Wilson was equalised by Mochan on 33 minutes with the Celtic forwards then looking quite dominant with Ritchie having to make good saves from Colrain and McNeill. After the interval however, Rangers found their man in Millar. Four minutes into the second half he put Rangers ahead. Celtic's defense fell apart in the second half and a further two goals followed. For the last 14 minutes Rangers were down to 10 men when Davis was stretchered off, Baird going to right half.
