Review
Celtic were up for it from the off. The first goal came from a corner with a spectacular overhead kick from Bobby Carroll. Four minutes later Muirhead lost a tussle for the ball and Carroll and Divers both went for the dropped ball. Some reports credit Jim Divers with the goal. The Celtic defense marshalled by McNeuill cooly coped with anything Hibs came up with. fernie scored in the second half with a low shoty from a tight angle. Two minutes later Auld made it four. And a minute later Chalmers headed home a fifth and went on to add a sixth in the sixty second minute.
