Review
A scrappy start to the game which saw both sides floundering. Gradually Celtic got into the game and started to produce good football guided by the intelligence of Fernie and the quickness of Chalmers. The first goal game from a sweetly worked move involving Crerand and Divers before Carroll shot home. Divers and Carroll combined after the interval with Divers placing a shot in the far corner of the net.
