Review
Celtic started at a pace and peppered Simpson's goal with shots. Hughes got the first headed goal from a Carroll cross. Hibs equalised almost immediately when the defense were caught napping and Kinloch fired a low shot past Connor. Simpson was still the busier keeper and kept out shots from most of the Celtic forwards who were much better than their previous outing against St Johnstone.
Eight minutes into the second half Donnelly brought the ball out of defense and passed to Chalmers who cooly lobbed Simpson from the edge of the box. Thirteen minutes from timer Kinloch levelled the game with a header.
