Review
A spate of goals at the end did not really reflect on the quality of the game or the commendable display from the amateurs. Celtic missed the accurate passing of Pat Crerand. Chalmers and Divers both played well in the forwards. Divers got the first goal from a pass from Jackson. The supporters had to wait till the 82nd minute for Celtic’s second and Chalmers got it from a Hughes pass. Hughes scored himself four minutes later. Then came a consolation goal for Queens scored by the man that had scored in every game this season with Divers getting a fourth just before full time.
