Review
17 year old Elliot playing his first game for Hearts had a bit of a blinder. He set up the first goal for Wallace and then scored one of his own just before the interval. Celtic were slow to start but the goal stung them into action and they had several good shots and chances which Marshall saved. Billy McNeill was injured in a tackle 5 minutes from half time and was off the field being attended to when the second Hearts goal went in.
Billy McNeill appeared after the interval but out on the wing. Price moved to centre half and Divers to left half. Hughes scored a good individual goal to narrow the lead but the match finished with Hearts taking the points.
