Review
Celtic started fast and furious. Airdrie pulled every outfielder back to defend. Jackson got the first, a header from a Price free kick. The goal heralded a fierce onslaught by Celtic but the shooting in front of goal was pretty woeful. The second half continued in the same vein. Jackson got a second on 67 minutes with a 30 yard left foot shot which took a deflection. Hughes headed a third goal five minutes from the final whistle.
