Review
A rude awakening for Celtic in the third minute when St Johnstone scored and then very nearly grabbed a second. It took some time for Celtic to get their game together but in the 27th minute Murdoch equalised. Tackling was fierce and harrower from St Johnstone was first booked then ordered off and McNeill booked in a separate incident. Murdoch got his second from a Divers pass before the interval.
In the second half against 10 men Celtic looked their normal self and Murdoch completed his hatrick with a goal that had a striong hint of offside.
