Review

Murdoch scored with a penalty after Chalmers was brought down in the area. Buckley scored with a left foot shot. Celtic had plenty of chances to score in the first half hour but failed to take them. Thirds got little success against the Celtic defense. McGillivray was stretchered off the field on 69 minutes and went to hospital with a head injury. Thirds played the final part of the game with 10 men.
