Review

Little had been made of the signing of Hugh Maxwell and he stepped right into the team. Celtic had plenty of chances in the first half but first blood went to Dundee. Penman beat three Celts before shooting past Fallon. Celtic went into attack mode but to no avail.
In the second half play was stopped by the referee as lightning struck around the ground. Play resumed after the worst of the storm had passed. Hughes had a shot cleared off the line and despite the best efforts of Johnstone Celtic could not find the net. Hamilton was booked for Dundee and two minutes from time Murray added a second.
Another poor result for Celtic.
