Review
Jimmy Johnstone did most of the forcing in the early stages and it was from one of his crosses that Charlie Gallacher scored the first goal. Gemmell spent most of the game in attacking mode. Celtic were well on top with Simpson a passenger in the Celtic goal. Bobby Murdoch got the second just before half time. Celtic went in 2-0 up without having to break sweat. The second half continued in the same vein. McBride got a third goal direct from a free kick and Lennox finished the scoring.
