Review
Despite the score and the clear fact that Celtic were never about to lose this game, there was less of a fluency in the team than seen so far this season. This was because Clyde defended well and in depth. Lennox for once, failed to score but he was involved in both the openers providing the cross from which McBride got the opener and being pulled down in the area to win the penalty.
With this result Celtic qualified for the quarter finals of the League Cup
