Review
Aberdeen defended stoutly commonly with 10 men behind the ball in this dress rehearsal for the Scottish cup final on April 29th. Tommy Gemmell still looked as though he needed some time to recover from his ankle injury but he was not the only one in the Celtic team that looked less sharp than usual. Bertie Auld, Jimmy Johnstone and Bobby Lennox all looked to be out of touch
Celtic lacked their usual sharpness in attack and Stein consoles himself that his side are another point nearer the title.
