Review
Jimmy Johnstone was in sensational form at Pittodrie. He set up Celtic's second goal for Pat McMahon after beating four men and laying it off and then he scored himself after beating five men in the process. This was described as a wonder goal in the press reports.
Clark saved Gemmell's penalty in 16 minutes but the referee awarded a retake after Clark had moved before the ball was kicked. This led to the referee being attacked by a spectator and he was escorted onto the pitch by the police for the start of the second half.
