Review
Celtic bottled the game up in Belgrade. Murdoch, Connelly and Brogan were deployed to defend in front of the back four.
In the first half Lazerovic was unluck not to,score twice, firstly when a cross struck him and went wide anfd then when his powerful downward header bounced up and sruck the bar. Celtic could have scored when Lennox slipped on the greasy surface after a good cross by Hughes and then when Murdoch sent a powerful 25 yard shot just over.
In the second half Celtic defended deeply and any Red Star shots were blocked by eager Celtic defenders although Clark nearly scored an own goal with a risky pass back to Fallon.
Wallace came on as sub and scored a spectacular long range goal which dipped as it flew through the air.
Celtic players were annoyed at losing Ostojic's scrambled late equaliser which denied them a notable away victory.
