Review
This was a tougher game than the score would suggest. There was no scoring in the first half and at the start of the second, Raith surprised the Celtic defense and went ahead. Although Celtic were well on top in terms of the play they found it hard to score and it took till 63 minutes for Willie Wallace to equalise. Bertie Auld then came on for Tommy Callaghan and proceeded to put the Bhoys in front with a scorching 20 yard shot. Just before the ends Willie Wallace added a third.
Two Raith players were booked.
