Review
After a fraught opening half hour Celtic kicked themselves into gear and Willie Wallace scored a brace of goals. Tommy Gemmell added to that with a 30 yarder and after the interval and Harry Hood finished off the scoring for Celtic shortly afterwards. In reply ex-Celt Kenny Aird scored for St Johnstone.
This was a game where Bertie Auld was a real playmaker for Celtic.
