Review
At half time Celtic were down to 10 men with the score at 0-0. Willie Wallace was sent off after a clash with Sam Hastings in the centre of the park on 40 minutes. Hastings collapsed to the ground both hands holding his face after Wallace went running past him. After some deliberation, the referee sent Wispy off.
In the second half Celtic upped their game and began to move the ball quicker and find space all over the field even with a man down, with Clyde backing off when they should have pressed their advantage.
Gemmell scored two typically spectacular penalties the first after Hastings had brought down Hood and the second after Mulheron had punched a goal bound Callaghan header off the line.
Jim Brogan was tremendous for Celtic when they had their backs to the wall with 10 men
