This game had a terrific ending with three goals in the last seven minutes.
Davie Wilson opened the scoring for United with a spectacular effort and in 83 minutes Hay equalised with a fine shot in off the post.
Alan Gordon thought he had won the match for United in 89 minutes but Celtic attacked to the end and the impressive Macari scored with an excellent shot from 20 yards to save face for Celtic.
