Review
Celtic score their goals in the first half and the second half is academic.
34 year old Steve Chalmers marks his return to the team with a fine goal much to the joy of the large visiting Celtic support inside Cappielow. Bobby Lennox took advantage of a slip by the right back Murray four minutes later to add a second and the final goal came from Willie Wallace after a fine piece of passing through the Celtic team.
At the end of the year Celtic stood second in the table 1 point behind Aberdeen with a gap opening up to third placed Rangers.
